A Permanent Solution

Removal and replacement of asphalt is a permanent method of repairing deteriorated asphalt. Full depth repairs involve the removal of the complete pavement down to the sub grade or to an intermediate subbase layer that is intact.

Once the deteriorated asphalt has been removed and disposed of, the base is inspected and repaired as needed. Tack coat primer is then applied to all edges to bind the new asphalt to the existing. The new fresh asphalt is then installed in two layers, compacting each layer individually for a more stable permanent patch.
